Wendy Williams

Wendy Williams is a famous woman of great social standing. She is a TV show host, radio DJ, author, actress, fashion designer and businesswoman.

Early Accomplishments

She was in her high school marching band where she played the clarinet. She attended Boston’s Northeastern University and graduated with a communications degree in 1986.

She was a radio DJ for her college’s station, WRBB and after college, landed her first full-time job in 1989 on WEPN-FM, earning a Billboard award for her job in 1993.

Best Known For

Asides her very famous and 2-time Daytime Emmy nominated TV talk show, The Wendy Williams Show (2008-date), she has also gained fame as the author of Wendy’s Got the Heat (2003) and The Wendy Williams Experience (2005).

She also starred as Gail in the 2012 hit, Think Like a Man (and its 2014 sequel).

Wendy is straight. She and Kevin Hunter (spouse of 12 years) are going through a divorce since April 2019 after he found out he has a child with another woman. She was previously married to Robert Morris II for only 5 months, divorcing in 1994.

She is seen to be dating Marc Tomblin since October 2019.

Family

She is the daughter (and 2nd child) of Thomas and Shirley Williams with her siblings being Thomas Jr. and Wanda Williams. Her son, Kevin Jr. was born in 2000.

Religion

Wendy is a Christian and a “placidly” devout one at that. She appears to attend church regularly.
