Hillary Clinton is one of America’s foremost politicians, having served the US government in several capacities. She is a lawyer, diplomat, public speaker and author.

Early Accomplishments

A teachers’ favorite, Hillary won many badges as a Girl Scout and a Brownie. She was class VP in her junior year and won a National Merit Award in her senior year.

She graduated from Wellesley College, where she was very politically active, in 1969 with a B.A. in Political Science and soon after, attended Yale Law School.

Best Known For

She became globally renowned after she ran for the office of POTUS in the 2016 elections on the Democratic Party platform, eventually losing to Donald Trump.

Before then, she has served as the First Lady of the US (1993 – 2001), the New York representative in the US Senate (2001 – 2009) and the US Secretary Of State (2009 – 2013).

Hillary is straight and has been married to ex-POTUS and former governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton since 1975. The power couple had met and dated at Yale and Hillary even initially turned down an earlier proposal in 1973 before finally tying the knots 2 years on.

She is the first child and only daughter of Hugh Rodham and Dorothy Howell with her 2 other siblings being Tony and Hugh.

She is the mother of Chelsea Clinton (born 1980) and a grandmother of Charlotte and Aidan.

Religion

Hillary was raised as a Methodist and has lived her entire life in the light of her faith. She even used the famous words of John Wesley during the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
