Shawna began playing soccer as a child but only began to gain state-wide recognition during high school when she played varsity soccer, leading her school team to 2 league victories and even being MVP in her final year.

She joined CSU when she was 18 and played with Long Beach State 49ers and helped the team to 3 Big West triumphs and being named Midfielder of the Year in 2011.

Best Known For

She played 89 games for the 49ers and scored 17 goals. 

Her professional career has seen her play for Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia in 2013, Umeå IK in Sweden in 2014 and most notably, Sky Blue FC in the US in 2015

Shawna is straight and was famously dating action star Shemar Moore in 2015 after he brought her on The Ellen Show in 2015. Despite reports of a falling out, the pair have continued to date each other and have been spotted canoodling severally.
