Bruce's career was launched at the start of the 80's as he played a minor role in the movie The First Deadly Sin. 

By 1984, he appeared in the crime series Miami Vice as he played the Tony Amato character.

Throughout his decades in the limelight, Bruce has attained much fame through the series Moonlighting, where he starred as David Allison Jr.
