Ian McShane

A pirate Blackbeard, brothel keeper, dance instructor and bishop – famous British actor Ian McShaneall tried all these roles and even much more.

His first serious role is a part in “The Wild and the Willing” in 1962.

After that, he appeared mostly in TV series.

He is recognizable for playing in “Lovejoy” series. The man worked as a director and main character.

The actor had problems with drugs and alcohol in the period from 18 to 45 years old. He told Daily Mail in the interview: “I had a snort of heroin in LA — I would try anything once. But I never injected: that’s hardcore... I enjoyed everything that was going. And then one afternoon I had an epiphany and thought: “This is enough” — and gave up all the drugs.”
