Daria Werbowy

Daria Werbowy (Ukranian: Dariya Verbova) is a Canadian-Ukrainian model boasting of a portfolio of vast runway experience and numerous campaigns with luxury labels. 

Early Accomplishments

At 14 she was already 5’10.9”. 

She wore braces and modelling was never an intention of hers. She was convinced to try out and after winning a national model competition, signed her first modelling contract when she was 14. 

She however, did not attain international fame until signing for IMG Models after graduating high school.

Best Known For

Although her claim to fame was being the face of Prada in 2003, she is most famously recognized as the ambassador for Lancôme after signing a deal of $1 million in 2010. 

Asides these, she has been in campaigns, walked runways across the world for all the top fashion houses and graced coveted magazines covers. She has the record for most shows in a season.

Sexual Orientation

Daria is straight. She was in a relationship with Josh Hartnett in 2004 but for a very brief period. It is alleged the reason for breakup was Daria’s refusal to clean up after Josh. 

In 2008, she was allegedly dating soccer star Fredrik Ljungberg.

Family

She is youngest of the 3 children by Daniel and Anna Werbowy of Ukrainian origin with her siblings being brother Orest and sister Oksana.

Religion

Daria is Polish Catholic, following her parents' footsteps.

Worth To Know

Daria is an ardent sailor. In 2008, she sailed through the Atlantic and Mediterranean, spending 3 months on this adventure.

The same year, she earned her place in Canada’s Walk of Fame.
