Jason Segel is a talented American actor, comedian and producer that has made a name for himself through his role in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. 

Early Accomplishments

His career officially kicked off in 1998 with a role in the teen movie Can't Hardly Wait. 

The following year, he branched into the television industry as Nick in the teen series Freaks and Geeks. 

Best Known For

His career reached its first peak as he starred as Sam in the 2002 movie Slackers. 

In 2008, he became a writer through the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall. 

2 years later, he produced the movie Get Him to the Greek.

Growing up, Jason was exposed to Judaism through his father and Christianity from his maternal family. His educational background instilled Episcopal and Hebrew values in him as a child. However, due to the mixture of his religious background, he has not focused on a particular faith but just believes that God exists.
